Margaretha Hoeve has ten brood mares. These horses are of a quality with a capital Q.

Some of them are even from the bloodline of the mare Maria Callas. This mare won many GPs and also took part in a number of the major championships. The talents of Maria Callas, a daughter of the stallion Contender and a mare of Furioso, live on in her offspring. She gave birth to a beautiful mare, Quinar, who in turn has had two foals, from Warent and Eldorado. Three (half-)sisters of Maria Callas have also produced good offspring. These are Unpredictable, a daughter of the stallion Lagunas, Royal Classic, a full sister of Maria Callas, and the half-sister Apple Essence, daughter of the stallion Vancouver.

In addition to the Maria Callas pedigree, the daughter of the Briolita pedigree, Olita, has also made her mark in the stud farm. She has already given birth to many good horses, including the champion mare Tolita, daughter of the stallion Voltaire, who has won many major prizes and world cups in Asia in particular. 

The mare Marlena, Highline x Ramiro, has also produced many good horses, like the promising 2009 Baloubet du Rouet Eclipse! The mare Preciosa may only have done level Z, but she has a lot of quality, which she has passed on some offspring:  a 2011 mare from Cardento and 2015 stallion of cardento.

The mare Landgrafin was injured when she was five, but had great qualities, which she has passed on to offspring 2008 Chacco Bleu gelding Delvaux. The mare Cierania, who was very successful under Vincent Voorn, prematurely retired last year following an injury, and now has breeds from the stallions Elvis, Berlin and Balou du Rouet.

He also collaborates with the successful stud farm of his good friend Frans van de Pas, called Bernse Hoef. This has resulted in, for example, the very talented stallion Contento, Lord Z from Wineada (Oklund x Corland), who appears to have very good qualities. This stallion has also jumped his first young horse trials at international level.

The stud farm has always provided the foundation for the sporting side of Margaretha Hoeve, and we will therefore continue to work on this scrupulously and passionately.
