Since 1994, the Van Mossel Team, formerly known as the Audi Team, has been a prominent name in international equestrian sports. With the ongoing support of the Van Mossel Automotive Group, the team has proven itself at the highest level and continues to grow. The rebranding from Audi Team to Van Mossel Team in 2024 marks a new milestone in this rich history. This change symbolizes the strengthened partnership with Van Mossel Automotive Group and underscores the commitment to developing young talent and elevating horses to the highest level. This new chapter in the team’s history places emphasis not only on performance but also on growth and innovation within the world of equestrian sports.

The Current Riders: Ambition and Talent in the Van Mossel Team

The beating heart of the Van Mossel Team lies in its strong rider lineup. Kim Emmen, the experienced and successful lead rider, has built an impressive track record. With horses like Imagine, Nash vh Lilleveld, and Kaiser DMH, she has made her mark on international equestrian sports. Her partnership with Imagine in 2023 marked a turning point in her career, taking her to new heights.

In addition to Kim, the team is further strengthened in 2024 by two promising riders: Mart IJland and Fillipa Ibsen. Mart IJland, a young Dutch talent, brings fresh energy and ambition. He has proven himself both nationally and internationally and is seen as a major promise for the future. Fillipa Ibsen, a talented rider from Denmark, brings her international experience and innovative insights. With her dynamic approach and vision, she strengthens the growth ambitions of the Van Mossel Team.

Together, Kim, Mart, and Fillipa form a versatile and ambitious rider team ready to reach the world stage.

Under the leadership of Eric Berkhof, CEO of Van Mossel Automotive Group, the team receives strategic support in their ambition to conquer international equestrian sports.

Eric Berkhof’s vision to develop talented riders and horses is reflected in the collaboration with De Margaretha Hoeve. This synergy has not only led to the name change but has also strengthened and focused the team.
